WRIPAC Spring 2026 Meeting

Our meetings are always free to attend. WRIPAC Meetings combine informative guest speaker presentations or panel discussions, a collaborative round-table discussion, and committee sessions to support the work of WRIPAC in service to the Public Sector HR Community.

Modernizing Post-Hire Assessment in Rancho Cucamonga
Robert Neiuber, IPMA-CE, Human Resources Director for the City of Rancho Cucamonga and a 2025 ELGL: Engaging Local Government Leaders Top 100 Local Government Influencer, will share how Team RC replaced traditional performance evaluations with Professional Development Plans (MAPs) to strengthen engagement, trust, recruitment, and retention.

Beyond Compliance: Embedding Strategic Succession in Government Organizations
Curtis Germany, MBA, SPHR, Assistant General Manager of Human Resources for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, will discuss how HR leaders can move beyond reactive succession planning by using workforce analytics, risk mapping, and talent pipeline strategies to build long-term organizational resilience.

Survivor Protocol: What the Zombie Apocalypse Teaches Us About How Work Gets Done
Tina Pruett, PSHRA-SCP, HR Manager for the City of Pleasanton, will lead a fast-paced, interactive simulation that reveals powerful lessons about silos, systems, collaboration, and how organizational constraints shape workplace outcomes.
